Reception at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts Located in the historic Art deco main post office building on Broadway, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts is dedicated to presenting great art from around the world. The Center hosts traveling exhibitions from the United States and abroad, as well as developing its own exhibitions on a diverse range of themes. Dinner at Cheekwood Cheekwood, once the private estate of the Cheek family, was completed in 1932. It is a 60-room Georgian mansion, and experienced an 18 million dollar renovation in 1999. Cheekwood's beautiful 55-acre garden setting high in the hills west of Nashville includes the Botanical Gardens and a Museum of Art. The grounds include a newly renovated Water Garden, Color Garden, Seasons Garden and the new Woodland Sculpture Trail. A spectacular sunset is an added treat. |
